Taylorsville, UT — June 10, 2025 — Waterford.org, a national early education nonprofit, is proud to announce the appointment of Kwasi Asare as its new Chief Growth Officer. He brings more than two decades of experience in technology and business leadership, with a proven track record of scaling organizations, building high-performing teams, and forging strategic partnerships that drive sustainable growth.
Asare joins Waterford.org after leading global partner business at enterprise software company New Relic. His prior leadership roles at DigitalOcean, Amazon, and IBM have spanned software development, product management, and business strategy—each focused on delivering measurable results. His appointment signals a bold step forward in Waterford.org’s mission to expand access to high-quality early learning opportunities nationwide.
“We’re thrilled to have Kwasi join the team,” said Matt Hill, CEO of Waterford.org. “His experience in both the technology sector and education space makes him uniquely suited to help Waterford.org grow its impact while staying focused on what matters most—helping young children learn and succeed.”
His passion for education was sparked during a White House appointment, where Asare worked on national education policy. That experience led to more than a decade of leadership in venture-backed education technology companies, where he helped shape and scale innovative learning tools that support student success.
Asare holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He currently resides in North Carolina with his wife and son.
