In his role, Sene will guide Waterford.org’s technology strategy and oversee the development of reliable, scalable systems that support educators and families nationwide. His background includes senior engineering leadership roles at DigitalOcean, DDN Storage, and NexGen Storage, as well as founding 231 Labs Ltd.

At DigitalOcean, Sene led the engineering teams behind the company’s core cloud products, supporting millions of daily customer transactions. He also drove the launch of major offerings such as database‑as‑a‑service and platform‑as‑a‑service, while modernizing foundational systems to meet rapid global growth.
