Taylorsville, UT — May 5, 2025 — Waterford.org, a national early education nonprofit, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jorge A. Fernandez, CPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, Fernandez will oversee the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and operations, supporting Waterford.org’s mission to help all children build a strong foundation for learning.
“Jorge brings a depth of financial expertise and operational leadership that will be vital as we continue to grow and scale our impact,” said Matt Hill, CEO of Waterford.org. “His strong track record across both nonprofit and private sectors makes him a valuable addition to our leadership team.”
Fernandez has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive in both nonprofit and corporate settings.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Florida, Fernandez holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida.
