June 6, 2025 — Families in New Hampshire and Missouri now have the opportunity to support their child’s learning through a summer program designed to build key skills for kindergarten and first grade—at no cost.

Waterford.org, a national early education nonprofit, is offering a 10-week home-based learning program as part of a multi-state education research study funded by an Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Families will receive expert coaching, resources for learning at home, and access to Waterford’s proven curriculum in either reading or math and science.

“Early learning lays the foundation for lifelong success,” said Dr. Matt Hill, CEO of Waterford.org. “Thanks to the support of the EIR grant, we’re able to expand this opportunity to both New Hampshire and Missouri families—giving them tools to support their children’s development during a critical window of growth.”

The program is simple to use at home and takes just 20 minutes a day. Along with engaging, tailored lessons, families also receive personal support from early learning specialists to help them make the most of their time together.

What families in New Hampshire and Missouri can expect:

  • Tailored learning that adapts to each child’s pace
  • A proven curriculum aligned to early education standards
  • Coaching and support from early learning experts
  • No cost to families
