Shreveport, LA (April 4, 2025) — Families, educators, and community partners gathered for a special Family Engagement Night hosted by Caddo Head Start, an event aimed at strengthening home-to-school connections and supporting early learning.

The event was featured in a segment by KSLA News 12, which highlighted the evening’s focus on helping families engage in their children’s education through interactive activities and access to at-home learning resources. Among the tools showcased was Waterford.org’s early education program, which supports foundational skills in reading, math, and science.

“We’re committed to giving every child a strong start, and that means working hand-in-hand with families,” said a Caddo Head Start staff member. “Family Engagement Night is about celebrating our students and helping parents feel empowered to be part of the learning journey.”

Waterford.org is proud to partner with educators like those at Caddo Head Start, who are deeply invested in creating meaningful learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom.
