We are pleased to announce that Waterford’s online digital reading platform, Curriculet, has been chosen by LEAP Innovations to be included in their portfolio of technology tools for Chicago Public Schools educators. The portfolio is comprised of products carefully selected to help meet schools’ needs and objectives.
Curriculet and 31 other products went through two months of rigorous evaluation, gauging range, alignment, usability, and relevance to the unique needs of both teachers and students. Of 32 products assessed, the independent expert panel of five educators from Chicago schools selected 12 winners, including Curriculet.
“By looking at these products from the perspective of students and educators, we can provide teachers with invaluable support as they work to enable each of their students to work at a different pace,” said Amy Peterson, Instructional Coach at Disney II Magnet School and 2018 curation panelist.
As part of the LEAP Pilot Network, representatives from Curriculet are excited to attend the LEAP Match Day this month in Chicago to meet with educators and administrators, and are thrilled to begin pilots in their schools.
