Waterford Reading Playlists

Playlists are designed to help teachers differentiate instruction to meet the needs of their students.

Available through Classroom Advantage for Waterford Early Learning
1,274 unique playlists
Correspond directly to Waterford Reading objectives
Whole class, small group, or individual student
Supports Tier 1 Instruction, Tier 2 Remediation, and Tier 3 Intervention

Mobile App Changes

Waterford Early Learning is now available for Android through the Google Play Store.

Waterford Early Learning has also been released for the Amazon Play Store. (See Compatible Devices)

The iOS app has also been updated to include new program activities.

Both the Android and iOS apps have a new feature where students can login without a QR code. Students will need their first and last name and student ID number as it is entered in Waterford Early Learning Manager. However, students still have the option to log in using the QR code as they always have

New Reporting Dashboards

Waterford Early Learning’s newly designed dashboards help teachers and administrators:

Track student usage
Set individual goals for students
Monitor students’ progress towards their individually set goals.

New Completion Report

The Completion Report will provide teachers with an at-a-glance view of the students’ current location within each reading level. This Report will show the number of students at every reading level, grouped by grade and month. This report will help teachers determine which students are falling behind and which are keeping up the pace.

New Usage Report

The Usage Report will provide teachers with a month-by-month breakdown of how much time is being spent with Waterford Early Learning. At the classroom level, there will be an additional new report titled Weekly Scores Report. This report provides a rolling weekly review of each student’s average score within each strand of the curriculum to help teachers work individually with students on problem areas.

Waterford's Parent Engagement App

Waterford Mentor will be a new feature that works alongside Waterford Early Learning that:

Enables direct messages to be sent to parents via the Mentor smartphone app.
Helps parents be “in the know” about their student’s progress in school in real time.

Weekly Usage

Waterford Mentor will give parents a weekly usage report of their children and help them be in the know about their students progress in real-time.

Family Monitoring

Waterford Mentor will track goal and usage of the app towards the goal.

Direct Messaging

Teachers can message parents directly through the app. This can be an announcement, direct message, or even a reminder about homework.
