PAID Summer Internship Opportunity
JULY THROUGH LATE AUGUST
Join the team to help kids get ready for kindergarten! As an intern you will meet face-to-face with our participants during graduations for children finishing the program and orientations for our new families.

WHAT TO EXPECT
• Frequent travel, in-state and nation-wide – all travel costs covered by Waterford.org
• Limited vacation time
• 30-50 hours/week with overtime
• Some physical labor (20-50 lbs moving event supplies)
• Varied schedule – days off on Sunday, and usually another day during the week
• Starting pay $12/hr DOE
QUALIFICATIONS
• Communication skills, including with young children
• Confidence and personability
• Public speaking and presentation skills
• Proactivity, attention to detail, and ability to follow complex processes, including use of computers
• Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
• Willingness to work long hours, including late nights and Saturdays
• Freshman in college or older
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Check participants in at events and update their account information
• Proctor digital kindergarten-readiness assessment
• Host engaging graduation sessions
• Provide training for program participants
