Coordinator, Community Outreach and Registration

The Waterford UPSTART Community Outreach and Registration Coordinator position is a full-time, hourly position (40 hours per week or more based on workload, with some Saturdays). The Community Outreach and Registration Coordinator is responsible for generating leads, and converting them into program enrollees to meet specific Waterford UPSTART program registration goals.

Job Functions

  • Devise effect ways to reach potential Waterford UPSTART participants
  • Plan and staff outreach and registration events, some including extensive travel and overnight stays
  • Initiate and develop relationships with community leaders
  • Act as primary contact for community partners in need of Waterford UPSTART information and materials
  • Collect and analyze data related to outreach efforts and enrollments in the Waterford UPSTART program
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of all outreach efforts and make changes and recommendations where appropriate
  • Act as Waterford UPSTART brand ambassador

Required Competencies

  • Travel to events and engage with community members and leaders independently
  •  Speak to large groups
  • Meet one-on-one with high-level organization leaders
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to initiate contact with parents, school and business leaders, and government officials
  • Spanish fluency preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Product management or sales experience
  • Driver’s license
