Dr. Dustin Heuston, Waterford Institute’s founder and CEO, saw the potential of interactive technology to enhance learning. Inspired by this vision, Dr. Heuston founded Waterford Institute in 1976. For more details, see the Company History page.

Waterford Institute’s mission is to provide children the finest education possible, through the development of high-quality educational models, programs, and software.

Waterford Institute uses technology to promote the academic success of every child. The resulting software is founded on four key principles: scalability, individualized and equitable instruction, student engagement, and low cost.

There are four Waterford companies, each with a specific focus:
