What Parents Are Saying

Increased Child’s Confidence
Waterford Research Institute Community Center has increased my child’s confidence tremendously! She comes home from class happy, fulfilled, and wanting to learn more. It has been a pleasant experience this year and I look forward to the next. — Amber Robison

Enjoyable Program
My daughter… has truly enjoyed participating in the Waterford Research Institute learning program. What a fun way for her to utilize the computer programs that help her to learn math, reading, and science.

This is such a great program that is offered free to the community. The location is an easy access off the freeway, and although it is a bit of a drive it is definitely worth it…My child thinks it is fun to play on the computer, so being able to learn in this way will help her learning and development.

I would definitely refer this program to anyone interested in giving their child a great head start. — Tiffany Uriartes

Lets Children Go at Their Own Pace
I love the interactive software and how it lets children go at their own pace. I like the worksheets for them to practice their letters. I like that when they finish they can doodle or write … I also like the certificates the program prints out for them.

What Children Are Saying

22 Letters
All of a sudden a big “Whew-wee!” came from the corner of the room. The teacher looked to see Annie breathing heavily, as if she just finished a race. Annie then told all the children around her, “I know 22 letters! I really had to hurry!”

Fun Stuff
While working on a matching exercise in Level Onemath, Jacob said with excitement, “I just keep on doing fun stuff!”

Take me Right Back
Kyle was fascinated with the experiment that shows a chicken developing from an egg. One day he didn’t get to see his egg on the program. He was so upset he cried all the way home. In the car he told his mother, “You take me right back so I can get on the computer, and you can do what ever you do until I get done with my egg!”

Reading is the most important thing you can ever teach your child. Reading really will be the life blood of everything they do and everything they accomplish.
