The Field Support Engineer works under the direction of the Field Support Manager.</p>
<p>Our Support Engineers work closely with Sales as subject-matter experts to demonstrate how proposed solutions meet and exceed customer requirements. Working with Product Management, the Field Engineer will build a strong relationship with partners and customers to build a high satisfaction level with all Waterford products and services.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>•  Install, configure and upgrade computer hardware and software</p>
<p>•  Help architect complex network infrastructures to support defined customer requirements</p>
<p>•  Pre-qualify installations for product specification compliance</p>
<p>•  Communicate issue response solutions to the internal teams as well as to the customer base</p>
<p>•  Provide timely analysis in support of escalated customer situations</p>
<p>•  Provide onsite support representation, where the need has been identified</p>
<p>•  Represent customer issues to the engineering team in the event their participation is required</p>
<p>•  Track and manage cases escalated to field involvement</p>
<p>•  Identify critical customer situations and provide diagnostic data to engineering teams</p>

<p>•  Knowledge of wireless LAN technologies</p>
<p>•  Knowledge in databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL)</p>
<p>•  Experience with Linux, Windows, MacOS at both workstation and server level</p>
<p>•  Experience with networking fundamentals (LANs, WANs, switches, routers)</p>
<p>•  Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls</p>
<p>•  Work experience with thin clients, virtual servers, cloud services</p>
<p>•  Excellent analysis and debugging skills</p>
<p>•  Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills</p>
<p>•  Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills</p>

<p>Overview</p>
<p>The sales representative will be responsible for growing revenue from  Waterford products and programs throughout Taiwan.  Through  consultative, value-based selling the sales representative will increase  the number of private and public educational institutions, and  consumers using Waterford’s innovative ICT-based instructional programs  in English, math and science. The sales representative will demonstrate a  high level of personal integrity and will be accountable to take the  initiative to achieve objectives while working effectively with  Waterford employees.  The position reports to the Managing Director of  Taiwan and the Vice President of International Business Development.</p>

<p>Job Responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Participate in setting revenue goals and customer objectives, and  will be responsible for developing leads, building a sales pipeline,  closing sales to achieve goals and objectives.</li>
<li>Identify and recruit potential partners to accelerate Waterford’s  growth in Taiwan and augment Waterford’s ability to provide  customer-centric complete educational solutions. </li>
<li>Participate in the effective management of existing customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing use of Waterford programs.</li>
<li>Clearly and professionally articulate Waterford value propositions  and educational solutions to customers and educational stakeholders in  Taiwan.</li>
<li>Operate transparently using company systems to inform and report on all aspects of sales and revenue growth in Taiwan.</li>

<p>Requirements and skills</p>
<ul>
<li>Three years of successful educational solution or related sales in Taiwan.</li>
<li>Three years of ICT solution sales experience.</li>
<li>K-6 teaching experience in addition to the above is highly valued.</li>
<li>Experience with retail and channel based sales is highly valued.</li>
<li>Excellent communications skills in both Chinese and English.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions.</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail, process and organization.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability as a “self-starter.”</li>
<li>Excellent general computing skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Salesforce, preferred.</li>
<li>Must live in the Taipei metropolitan area.</li>
