Waterford Research Institute, developer of Waterford Early Reading Program© and Waterford Early Math and Science©, is currently looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, and hard-working Research Writer. The research writer will serve as part of the evaluation team and assist in writing grant proposals and research publications. 

Responsibilities  

• Assist in the research, development and writing of high quality grant proposals
• Prepare grant proposals and reports for corporate, foundation and organization partners under the direction of the Director of Evaluation
• Document research results for journals and conference publications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, Social Sciences, English or related field highly preferred
• Scientific writing experience required
• Excellent written and oral skills and commitment to quality work
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to use the Internet effectively as a research tool
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with short deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects effectively and efficiently, work as part of a team, and complete tasks with minimal supervision
