Responsibilities
- Provide high level support for Waterford Software
- Work with hardware providers to resolve warranty issues
- Work with Internet providers to establish and troubleshoot services
- Create test cases to research customer concerns
- 20-30% overnight travel will be required.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of Technical Support experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of SOHO networking solutions
- Ability to organize and track multiple projects
- Apple and PC Expert
- MCSE or similar focusing on:
- Server 2003 / 2008
- SQL 2005 / 2008
- A+ or Network + certification
- Familiarization with the following
- DHCP
- DNS
- NFS
- Packet Sniffing
- Network design and routing
Preferences
- Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Novell Experience
- VMWare Experience
