Though Waterford programs have achieved much measured success, this page shares success on a more personal level.

"I am so impressed with the program. During the past 18 years, the majority of my teaching has been in the kindergarten classroom. I have seen many programs and methods used to teach the alphabet as well as reading and language skills. The Waterford program has shown dramatic results in a short period of time for my students. Some of them only know one or two letters of the alphabet at the beginning of the school year and now they can recognize the entire alphabet. They love the characters, songs, and activities! All day I am asked, 'when will it be my turn?' With twenty-seven students in my class, this may be some of the most extensive individual attention they receive all day. I want to thank both Title 1 and the people from Waterford for providing such a valuable and motivational tool for my classroom" (Kathy McNelly, Teacher).
"I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we are with the success that the Waterford Early Reading Program has shown in the reading development of our primary students. It is an extreme joy to walk into a first- or second-grade classroom and witness students sounding out words and reading using the skills from the Waterford program. I also wanted to share what happened in one of our English Language Advisory Council meetings this year … After a tour to see their children actually using the program, we returned to the meeting room. There was dead silence as everyone had a moment to reflect on what they had observed. Finally a parent raised her hand and asked, 'Can we purchase this program for our homes? This is the greatest things I have ever seen. If only I had something like this to help me learn to read and speak English when I went to school'" (Stuart M. Dunn, Principal).

"This is the kind of learning I like" (Josh, Waterford Early Reading Program™ student).

"He never enjoyed learning as much as he does with this program. It's simple to understand and it makes him feel good that he can complete the tasks. It gives him a lot of self-confidence" (Josh's mom).

"The Waterford program has changed my life for the better. I’ve worked with many programs, but I’ve never worked with any that can provide this type of individual instruction for every child. It helped me realize what every child needs" (Angie Cook, Waterford Lab Facilitator).
